Meet Us

We are the team that creates acurate custom Sleep Disorder Oral Appliances.

Sleep-related breathing disorders are a widespread epidemic affecting 20-30% of Americans. Many of these conditions can be life threatening if not treated, but often go undiagnosed. Most people don’t even know the very real dangers of these conditions, or how easy the solution is. We offer a simple yet highly accurate series of screening mechanisms that can help identify if you are at risk. Working with your physician, we can make a remarkable difference with the custom oral devices we will create for you.

Fact:

  • At least 20 million adults suffer from sleep related breathing disorders in America.
  • An estimated 70 million suffer undiagnosed and unaware that their lives are in danger.
Sleep Disorder Oral Appliances (SDOA) are indicated in patients with mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea, and those with severe apnea who are unable to use nasal CPAP.

Oral appliances maintain an open airway by repositioning the jaw forward. The appliances are worn in the mouth as you might wear an orthodontic retainer or sports mouth guard.

Oral appliances are also used in combination with surgery, weight loss, and traditional CPAP therapy

Working with South Carolina Licensed certified sleep physicians Sleep Focused Solutions is able to provide this very affordable service. This is a quick non-invasive test that can be done in seconds providng the doctor with valuable information. The Rhinometer test is reimbursed by private insurance and Medicare.
Acoustic Pharyngometer Test
The Pharyngometer device has become a “gold standard” tool used in sleep disordered dentistry because of its ability to identify narrow, obstructed, and collapsible airways as well as its ability to determine proper position of the mandible for oral appliance therapy. This test is reimbursed by private insurance and Medicare.
